Brainy Tunes songs are aimed at the children of educated, upscale parents, those who want something different (and a wee bit challenging) for their kids, ages 3-7 or 5-12 (The Chills.). Ira tumbled into kids’ music when, singing in a small cafe, he was discovered by the creative director of The Learning Company, the world’s largest producer of educational software for kids. He was then commissioned to write a series of songs for them, including the theme song for their flagship Reader Rabbit series.
